How To Access Your Webmail
After purchasing an email hosting or web hosting service from Crazy Domains, you have the option to create an email account based on your chosen plan.
IMPORTANT The instructions herein apply to cPanel-based emails that are used by the following hosting plans:
- Linux Web Hosting
- Business Web Hosting
- WordPress Hosting
- Website Builder
- Email Hosting (Legacy – Not Titan)
Once the account is created, the next step is to access it. A convenient way to do so is through Webmail, a web-based email client that lets you view your emails through a web browser on any computer or device with internet access. You can temporarily access your emails this way to test if the emails are working in terms of DNS and server functionality.
Here are two ways to access your Webmail:
Via Direct Link or URL
- Access this universal webmail link on your browser. You can also use a link using your domain name with the following format:
mail.domainname/webmail
Replace domainname with your domain name. For example, mail.mydomain.com/webmail.TIP
- You can change the email password in mail.domainname/webmail URL as long as you have the current password of the email account.
- If you forgot the current password of your email account, access your webmail via account manager instead.
- Enter your complete Email Address (e.g. [email protected]) and the corresponding Password in the respective fields.
- Click Login.
Via Account Manager
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Go to the domain name connected to your email account and click Manage.
- Click the Control Panel or Login to cPanel button.
- In the Email section, select Email Accounts.
- Select the email account you want to manage and click Check Email.
- Click the roundcube logo to open your Webmail.
Problems You May Encounter
Learn how to reset your email password in this guide. If you don’t have access to the account manager, contact the domain owner.
If you can access webmail via account manager but not using the webmail link, your DNS is not properly set up for your email. Review the MX Record for your cPanel emails.
NOTE: The Webmail service is only accessible to those who have our email or web hosting products. If you are hosted with us and are unable to access Webmail, please contact us for assistance.
